Realtime, without the black box

We build the realtime layer so product teams don't have to — and so they never have to hand their data and media to a vendor they can't see into.

What we do

Poolsignals is one realtime platform behind a single account and SDK family. It covers engagement — messaging, presence, channels, stories and the social graph — and media — low-latency streaming and 1:1 and group WebRTC calls with background ringing. Turn on what your app needs to make it feel alive.

Why we built it

Realtime is deceptively hard: sockets, presence, reconnect, fan-out, WebRTC, TURN relays, push to locked devices, background ringing. Most teams either burn quarters building it, or rent a closed SaaS and give up control of their data. We wanted a third option — the whole realtime surface, production-grade, that you can run on infrastructure you control.

How it's built

Every customer app is an isolated tenant with its own keys. The SDKs ship for the web (TypeScript, React/Next.js) and mobile (Flutter/Dart) and share the same concepts, so a small team can cover both. Under the hood, managed hubs handle presence and fan-out, a shared push service reaches backgrounded and killed devices, and media routes through streaming ingest and WebRTC with relay for cross-network connectivity.

Who it's for

Product teams adding chat or calls to an app, marketplaces and communities that need channels and moderation, live-commerce and creator apps that need streaming, and platforms that want to offer realtime to their own customers under a white label.
